Lesson plan on Rhyming Words for Montessori

5 -10 m                 10-15 min warm	Warm-up: After writing the objectives of today’s class, the Teacher will connect the topic by reciting (followed by writing on the board ) some example sentences in a peculiar and animated  way and  will ask the students to identify the same-sounding word Example a. I have a rocket I my pocket b Don’t drop your lollipop while you shop c. Plane fly high up in the sky.      Introduction& Presentation   The teacher will introduce the concept of the rhyming words  connect the topic to the by showing flash cards on which different rhyming written . The teacher will read the rhyming words in a sing song manner	. Answering/ demonstrating their understanding level                       Speaking the words after the teacher And then with the tacher.	Asking and underlining the rhyming words. Modelling   Checking their prior knowledge and give them feedback                   Sing song manner   Monitoring the class. Checking their listening  and speaking  skills and focus.	Black board , chart and animated objects ( paper plane ,lollipop etc)
10 min	Practice Students will work in group a set of flash cards will be given to each group.   1.       Rhyming words written on different chart papers( with same colour for same rhyming word) will be given to the students. 2.       Students will have to identify and sort out the same rhyming words 3.       Students be asked why do they think so?	Students with the pair share their ideas about the given task Identifying and pairing the different rhyming words together	Think pair share   To gauge their focus and to check their understanding skills.	Flash cards ( The rhyming   words would be picked from these templets)
510	PLENARY: The teacher will repeat the objectives of Today’s class and  will also get their Feedback by thumbs expression listening	Listening and giving them a feedback	Independent task
	H.W  give them a worksheet as a reinforcement of the concept taught	Students will match the rhyming words by a line.	recap of the lesson done today to check their understanding.
